The company was founded over 10 years ago based on an initiative to develop and market an educational product for the teaching of measurement and control techniques using a PC.

The concept was similar to the MekanoTM construction toy, but using a PC instead, hence the somewhat unusual name PC-Kano. That particular business idea has been consigned to history but the original name still survives.

The corporate activity has relatively light over the past few years but the emergence of several new business opportunities will lead to significant expansion during 2002.
